House cleaning in Richmond Hill, from a Vaughan team

We drive up from Vaughan to clean houses, condos and apartments in Richmond Hill. You pick the day and the hour, and we work around the clock, so the City's parking rules are part of planning your visit.

What we clean in a Richmond Hill home

Most visits are a regular home clean, once or on the same day every week or two. A home that has gone a while without one usually needs a deep clean first, which reaches the ledges, corners, door panels and kitchen appliances. The shower in this photo is from one of our bathroom jobs; our page on bathroom deep cleaning shows the tiles and grout in more detail.

  • Furniture tops dusted and hand-wiped
  • Blinds and window sills dusted
  • Carpets and floors vacuumed
  • Locks and door panels wiped
  • Ceiling fans dusted
  • Toilet, sink and bathroom tiles

We bring our own equipment and eco-friendly products.

Where our car goes: Richmond Hill street parking by season

A cleaning visit means a car outside your home for a few hours. The City of Richmond Hill sets three street rules on its parking page, and two of them change with the season.

December 1 to March 311 a.m. to 7 a.m.

No parking on any street. A winter visit late at night or very early needs the car off the road.

April 1 to November 303 a.m. to 6 a.m.

The overnight gap is shorter, but it is still there. Evening visits that end before 3 a.m. can use the street.

Every day of the year3 hours at most

Between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. a car may stay on one street for 3 hours. A deep clean of a full house often takes longer than that.

The easy answer is a free spot on your driveway for the length of the visit. When there isn't one, the City sells temporary permits for longer or overnight street parking at parking.richmondhill.ca. Tell us which one applies when you book, and we plan the hour around it.

The evening before we come

Leave one driveway spot open

Move a second car or the bins aside so ours fits. It saves a permit and a parking ticket.

Put small things away

Clothes, papers and toys off the floors and counters means the time goes on cleaning, not on moving things.

Pick the rooms that come first

Tell us if the kitchen matters most, or if a room should stay closed. The plan for the visit follows that.

Say who will be home

A dog in the yard or a cat under the bed is fine. We just want to know before we open the door.

Three items at the curb after a big clean

A deep clean or a move-out clean often comes after a sort-out, and the bags pile up. Richmond Hill collects garbage every other week, with a limit per house.

2Item
3Item
4+Tag needed
A bag or a can
One item each. A can holds up to 125 litres, and no item may weigh more than 18 kg.
A bundle
Loose things tied together, no longer than 1.2 m.
Furniture or a mattress
One item each, up to 68 kg and 1.8 m long, set out only on your garbage day.
Anything bigger
It goes to a York Region waste depot, such as the Elgin Mills Community Environmental Centre at 1124 Elgin Mills Road East.

From the City of Richmond Hill's garbage and recycling page and York Region's list of waste depots. Each extra item needs a garbage tag. Twice a year, in spring and fall, the City runs Double-up Days with six items allowed and no tags; plan a big sort-out for one of those weeks.

Questions from Richmond Hill homes

Do you come to every part of Richmond Hill?

Yes. We're based in Vaughan and clean homes up to about 50 km around it, and the whole of Richmond Hill sits well inside that. Tell us the street when you ask for a quote.

Can you clean in the evening or at night?

Yes, we're open 24 hours, 7 days a week. For a late visit we check the season first: from December to March no car may stay on the street between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m., so we'll ask for a driveway spot.

Do you clean condos in Richmond Hill too?

Yes, houses, condos and apartments. If your building asks contractors to book the elevator or sign in at the desk, our page on condo cleaning explains what to tell us.

Can the same clean happen every two weeks?

Yes. Pick a day and an hour and we come back on that rhythm. If a date has to move, call or text (647) 507-8440.
