Condo cleaning in Vaughan and Toronto

A condo is a small home inside a big building. We clean the unit itself, room by room, and plan the visit around the front desk, the elevator and the parking rules of your building.

What we clean inside a condo unit

A condo gets the same visit as a house, just with fewer stairs and less floor. The kitchen and the bathroom take most of the time, because that's where grease and water marks build up. The list below is our standard home cleaning visit; if one room bothers you more than the others, say so and it goes first.

  • Tops of furniture dusted and wiped by hand
  • Floors and any rugs vacuumed
  • Blinds and window sills dusted
  • Door panels and locks wiped
  • Ceiling fans dusted, where the unit has one
  • Toilet, sink and bathroom tiles

We bring the equipment and our eco-friendly products, so you don't need to buy anything for us or clear space in a closet for a vacuum. A bathroom with dark grout or a crust on the faucet has its own page: bathroom deep cleaning.

Your building cleans the hallways. The unit is yours.

People often ask whether their condo fees already pay for cleaning. They do, but only for the shared parts of the building.

Amenities and parking

The gym, the party room, the garage. These are common elements, looked after by the condo corporation and the contractors it hires.

Hallways and elevators

Also common elements. The carpet outside your door and the elevator you ride are the building's job, not yours and not ours.

Your unit

Everything behind your own door. The owner looks after it, and this is the part you book us for.

The Condo Authority of Ontario lists parking, hallways, elevators and amenities as examples of common elements, which the corporation is generally responsible for, and says owners are responsible for normal wear and tear on their units. The exact split is set by the Condominium Act and your building's own documents, so check your declaration if a balcony or a locker is in doubt.

A short note for your first booking

Every building has its own routine for contractors. Some want a name at the desk the day before, some want the service elevator booked, some send visitors to a particular parking level. If we know these before we arrive, the visit starts on time and your concierge doesn't have to call you.

Moving out of a condo

An empty unit shows everything: the inside of the fridge, the drawers, the floor where the couch stood. The photo is from one of our jobs, a fridge emptied and cleaned down to the bottom drawer.

Moving days in a condo usually run on an elevator booking. Plan the clean for after the furniture has gone and tell us the time your building gave you, so we're not waiting for the same elevator as your movers. What condo owners and tenants ask us

My condo is only one bedroom. Is it worth booking a cleaner?

Small units fill up fast: one kitchen, one bathroom and one living space do all the work. A clean every week or two keeps the kitchen and the bathroom from building up. Send the number of bedrooms and bathrooms and we'll quote for that size.

Do you clean condos in Vaughan as well as downtown Toronto?

Yes. We're based in Vaughan and clean condos and apartments there, in Toronto and across the GTA.

Can you clean the windows of my unit?

Window cleaning is one of our services. Tell us how many windows and whether there's a balcony door, and see the windows and upholstery page for what it covers.

What helps you quote a condo accurately?

The number of bedrooms and bathrooms, pets, how often you want us to come, and a few photos by text to (647) 507-8440. Photos of the kitchen and the bathroom tell us the most.
